Taming the
Cisco Nexus 9000

1. The Molex self-aligning connector is held in with a tab.

2. With the inner side of the fan module facing you, depress the tab slightly and slide the connector toward your right:

3. The connector will come free. Move the connector aside to access the grounding screw.

4. Unscrew the Phillips screw holding the frame grounding terminal to the frame, and set it aside:

5. Second checkpoint: self-aligning connector and ground terminal disconnected.
